Dry Spell is a (heavily) curated non-alcoholic wine, beer, spirits, and aperitif shop dedicated to celebrating decadence—just minus the alcohol. Go ahead and indulge—gulp it down or savor every sip—and still wake up clear-headed. Whether you’re sober, sober-curious, or just curious, Dry Spell is your invitation to enjoy artful, delicious drinks, unapologetically.

Origin Story

I’m Ingrid, owner of Dry Spell and co-owner (with my husband Tim) of Three Trees Books in Burien, WA. I quit my nightly wine habit in 2016, and that one choice set off a chain of unexpected good things, including opening our bookstore in 2019.

Since then, Tim has taken on most of the day-to-day bookselling while I’ve handled marketing and events. During a brief pause in my tech career, I realized it was time for a new venture: Dry Spell Bottle Shop, a specialty NA bottle shop inside our bookstore (and online).

After nearly a decade of taste-testing NA wines, beers, and mocktails, I’m excited to make other people’s dry spells a lot more fun. There’s no reason we can’t be gluttonous lushes who just don’t drink alcohol.
